I’ve had the same DTAC phone number for four years. Now I have a new iPhone, and I couldn’t transfer the eSIM. Apparently, you need a Thai ID number for that, even though it’s originally a tourist SIM. That’s really strange. Now I unfortunately have a new phone number and had to inform all my Thai friends. The service from eSIM Thailand is very good, and the setup is straightforward. I was able to let my girlfriend know I’d arrived right after landing. A DTAC flat rate plan is definitely recommended; all the streaming services work reliably. I would absolutely recommend eSIM Thailand.
